Information and data analysts will be expected to have experience in quantitative analysis, and will normally have exceptional skills in one or all of the following programs: Microsoft Excel, SAS, and SPSS. A government background is not always necessary; some information and data analysts may come from financial or even scientific backgrounds.

Senior Analyst and Analyst Positions

  • Enable young people to achieve in education and produce skills relevant to New Zealand’s economic and social success
  • Help set spending priorities, and identify programmes and polices that work
