You'll need to hit the ground running in this fast-paced position, delivering real-time policy with maturity and confidence. You'll be involved in policy development, negotiating with a range of different groups to ensure effective solutions are developed to often sensitive issues. Your appreciation of operational delivery will enable you to initiate and undertake research into service options and also competently analyse local and international trends. You'll be open to feedback, like the challenge of meeting deadlines and be resilient in times of stress. To sum up, you'll have strong numerical skills, be a listener, someone who won't just build relationships but actually initiate them, and you may have previous experience in the health sector.
